Bath Re-enamelling

Re-enamelling of a bath is often offered in advertisements, however beware, to re-enamel a bath it would have to be fired in a kiln, as the original was. This is of course something that is not able to be done in the home. The process carried out in-situ is not re-enamelling but is known as resurfacing.

Bath Surgeon have been resurfacing baths for over 10 years, and have REGIONAL SERVICE available to our customers. We do not find it necessary to mislead our customers by suggesting that re-enamelling is carried out in-situ, we have had resurfaced baths last as long as 10years, although we would normally suggest an average life is between 7-12 years, after which time the bath can be resurfaced again.
